Project Print Squid Underway

A few weeks ago, in my Design Essentials Class, we started a project. This project was to choose a company from a list of companies with descriptions of each. Myself along with a few other people in the class chose Print Squid. Our first part of the project was to edit an old photo of a building in photoshop. Second was to create the logo and corporate identity. Third is to create a Newsletter (might be posted when we finish.) Here are the images all in one place for you to critique.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. My techniques don't look too different from yours actually. I just use more layers I think. Reflections, highlights, gloss, chrome, etc. I just keep adding and adding to my stuff until I think it's done pretty much. :D

Hey, do you have an account on encide.net? If not, it's a pretty chill forum, you might like the vibe there, lots of great, talented designers there. Even a few interfacers like myself. :)

Oh no problem, My girlfriend loved the flower so much I had to collect it, she was researching for her next tattoo idea and I happen to run across a few select oleanders she liked and I plan on doing a illustrated mock-up of her tattoo in BW and color. Your picture was very beautiful and I thank you for uploading it and sharing.

Oh, I do have a couple of other oleander photos I've been thinking of posting but just haven't gotten around to it yet as I still need to frame them but the center is open on them unlike that one where the center still looks like a bud. Maybe after 15 April when I can breath again (tax accountant here).
